The Australian Space Design Competition is now in its third year of competition, and has grown since its inception to include in excess of 100 finalist students annually. We have received financial and in kind sponsorship from several levels of the Australian government, as well as many elements of private and corporate business. With links to sister competitions in Europe, Asia, and North America, and our parents competition at the Johnson Space Centre in the USA, we have an incredibly strong international focus and ties.

The ASDC Champions presenting at the ISSDC Finals, 2007
This section of our website has been designed to give the public a clear indication of the ASDC, its inner workings and its links to industry and other competitions. In the links to the left you will find a brief history of Australian involvement in Space Settlement Competitions worldwide, from the first ever Australian team in 2002 right through to the 2008 ASDC Finals.
Read a short biography of each of the Competition founders - why and how they got involved, and what they get out of their participation and involvement.
Also explore the international aspect of the ASDC, from an introduction to the ISSDC and links to their website, to each of our sister competition's worldwide.
Finally, appreciate all the sponsors that help make the ASDC a success, and will continue to do so for years to come!
